Search the internet for information about your child’s diagnosis and look for answers to questions that you might have. Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are a group of developmental disabilities which affect a person’s ability to communicate and interact with others. Visual impairment refers to limitation or absence of sight, which includes partial sight or blindness.
